About Motala Hissar

Motala Hissar is a leading manufacturer of lifts for buildings where space is limited. The company has one of the most space efficient lifts on the market. Motala Hissar belongs to the Aritco Group, which is owned by Latour Industries. Motala Hissar is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.

Motala Hissar started in 1972, specializing in goods lifts. Since the 1980s the company has mainly focused on platform lifts, which are mainly used to make buildings more accessible. More than 10 000 lifts have, so far, been delivered to customers all over the world. About 60% of the output is exported.

Motala Hissar works with continuous improvement of its products, production and systems, aiming for its products to provide the highest levels of safety, reliability and ownership costs. The customers should feel that they get the best that the industry has to offer.

Quality is continuously improved with the feedback from distributors and customers.

All mechanical parts are manufactured in our own plant. This means we have full control over the production process. If a customer needs a special solution or particularly fast delivery, we can accommodate such requirements in the majority of cases. Our production plant in Motala is centrally located from a geographical perspective, with fast distribution routes to both the north and the south.

We have our own R&D department that continuously works to make our products better, smarter, more cost-effective and even more compact.
